Praise ushers us into God's presence. And when we're in His presence, there is POWER. So whether it's singing, playing an instrument or working behind the scenes, we intend to create an atmosphere where praise is both initiated and maintained. In I Chronicles 16:7, the psalm of David was presented to the worship leader on the day the ark - signifying God's presence - was placed in the tabernacle at Jerusalem. The people were instructed to thank the Lord for His powerful works and for His personal covenant with them. Since our God has not changed, this is one tradition we intend to keep alive.
